24/7 care and supervision with respectful help for bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other daily routines. Personal laundry, linen care, and daily resident-room cleaning are also included in the monthly residential rate.
What Does Personal Care Include?
Bathing
Help getting into or out of the shower, washing, rinsing, and drying while protecting privacy and safety.
Dressing
Help choosing clothes and putting on or removing shirts, pants, socks, shoes, buttons, or zippers.
Grooming
Help with brushing teeth, washing the face, combing hair, shaving, and looking ready for the day.
Toileting
Help getting to the toilet, managing clothing, cleaning afterward, and changing protective briefs or incontinence products with dignity.
Help Without Taking Over
The caregiver helps only where help is needed and encourages the resident to keep doing what they can.
Caregivers are available day and night for supervision and help when a need arises.
The caregiver explains each step, asks permission, protects privacy, and moves at the resident’s pace.
Consistent caregivers learn normal routines and can notice small changes in comfort, mood, skin, or ability.
